My last post was in 2010… 2 years later, I will finish blogging about the trip to Japan! I have to finish it before this summer, because I will be going to Japan once again with another bunch of friends.
So on the third day, we went on the Shinkansen and shot off to Kyoto. This is what the inside of the Shinkansen looked like.
We arrived at Kyoto station.
We were on our way to visit the Fushimi Inari shrine.
We arrived at the shrine.
It was a long walk uphill. Pretty scenery.
We reached the shrine at the top of the mountain/big hill.
We were all pretty tired and hungry from the uphill walk, so it was time for lunch. The udon was pretty nice.

It was time to leave the shrine and make our way back to Kyoto hostel.
By the time we got back, it was dark already. We wandered around for a bit, looking for a place to eat.
The meal was rather expensive, and we were still hungry afterwards. It seems like the more you pay, the less food you get!
We enjoyed the lights and stuff before retiring for the night.
